Role Description
As the Aerospace HQ Lead ERP Finance Specialist, you will have functional responsibility for ERP systems and financial analysis. In this role, you will support the Aerospace closing and reporting process as well as oversee routine and project-based maintenance within the ERP.

Be an ERP go-to person to help end-users with their ERP usage issues

Function as a key player to run daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly ERP jobs to close ledgers in a timely manner, and roll forward at year-end

Gain basic DRM knowledge and participate in projects as and when required

Ensure ERP general ledger data integrity including SOD for user-access roles

Drive quarterly/monthly the ERP closing lean initiatives to support overall Aerospace closing target

Involvement in GE Aerospace projects and Cloud implementation for ERP

Prioritize continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs

Partner with Aviation Digital and Controllership to clear ERP system CVR
-
Standardize ERP maintenance processes across all ERPs in job scope and in alignment with total Aerospace ERP landscape

Support ad hoc project requests that support controllership and GE Aerospace business initiatives

Responsible for general accounting and policy application & process administration

Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a discipline and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Math or related field from an accredited college or university

Minimum of 3-5 years of related finance and/or ERP experience (Oracle/SAP)

Ability to work non-standard business hours during quarterly close

Proven analytical and organizational ability

Effective problem identification and solution skills

Understanding of how operational processes link to the financial statements

Prior experience in Oracle HFM/ERP systems
